This genre uses an object and alienates it from the context or combine it with others.
During what years was he alive?
During the years of 1928 - 1987

Describe the color that he utilizes. Does he use any particular color scheme?
1. He uses realistic colors and makes realistic strokes to bring out the liveliness.
2.He uses all 6 pictures in one frame but instead of using the same colors he uses different colors to give different appeal to it.
What do you notice about the artwork itself?
Both pictures are using past famous people.

Review Week 9

Compare and contrast vector graphics and pixel images.
Vector graphics change in resolution as you expand it. This causes it to be very blurry. Pixel images are just pixels and colors so the resolution doesn't change as it expands which causes it to stay clear.
What resolution is necessary to print raster images?
The resolution required is 300.
What resolution is necessary to display raster images on the internet?


The resolution needed is 72.

Who is Steve Jobs?
Steve Jobs is the co founder of Apple.
What company was he CEO for many years?
Apple
What did he do for the computer industry?
He transformed many new technologies and introduced them to the public.
How did this man impact the graphic design industry?
Steve Jobs created many programs for our use to easily do design.

Review Week 8

Why must designers pay close attention to how color is utilized within a composition?
Designers must utilize colors correctly or the design will not be appealing to the eye.
Why is the color wheel an important tool for graphic designers?
The color wheel is important to show which colors is used or adjacent to each other to complement one another.
Find an example of neutral colors utilized within a design (hint: google poster design). Near the sample, discuss why you feel the designer included neutral colors within the composition.
 


The designer used neutral colors to appeal to our eyes using a variety of colors.















Briefly describe how we "see" the color of an object?
White light hits an object. The object absorbs colors and reflect some into our eye. Our eyes only see the color that is reflected.

Calm and rarely overpowers. Seems to be further away. Gives illusions of depth.
Why is important to consider which colors are being used within a design?
Right colors convey the right message and evoke the desired response to any form of visual communication.
